Do not speak vernacular!
The language we call our mother’s tongue
Yet, to be referred to as our own is embarrassing.
Of course, our knowledge must be gauged by our ability to twist our tongues.
Twisted minds
Do not honour African deities!
You will familiarise yourself with evil.
And prone to destruction; a surefire path to hell
While we must embrace the mystery of the night
By wearing a costume, concealing the horror of the darkness.
Hurray! It’s Halloween
Do not wear filthy old attire!
where we cover our necks and thighs; an obstruction to airflow
Aren’t our bodies a temple for many to watch and attend to?
The rags and undersized garment, an echoes of civilization
A show of beauty; nudity is the new beauty.
How do we move from here watching how a culture go down the drain.

In full fledge, but here at home it’s nothing to write about amongst us.
Maybe years to come we’ll be taught our language by a foreigner.
Are we at the peak of evolution yet as a people, and how far can we go? What’s the way forward, or is there a way out?
