Convict of fate, damned to death’s door,
In life’s struggles, a relentless uproar,
Chains of circumstance, heavy to bore,
Convict of destiny, to suffer and soar.
The weight of sin, a burden to bear,
In the depths of despair, no solace to share,
Convict of damnation, in life’s snare,
Struggling against the tide, with despair.
From the gallows of fate, no reprieve,
Convict of life’s trials, they deceive,
In the shadows of darkness, we grieve,
Convict of struggles, we strive to believe.
But amidst the darkness, a flicker of light,
Convict of hope, in the darkest night,
Struggling against fate’s unyielding might,
Convict of resilience, in our fight.
So let us rise, from the depths we’ll climb,
Convict of life’s struggles, in rhythm and rhyme,
In the struggle, we find our prime,
Convict of strength, against the chime.
