Iyo Afopina (Moth Pupa) II

In “Afopina II,” I’m using the powerful idea of a moth breaking free from its pupa to symbolize how we as humans are always growing and changing, letting go of our old selves. Here, against this bright yellow background, you see a strong blue figure. And from it, a lighter, almost glowing yellow figure seems to emerge or separate, reaching out, with a burst of black butterflies flying away. For me, these butterflies really show that moment of transformation – cutting ties with the past, letting go of what held you, and finding the freedom to become something new and soar. It’s all about constant evolution and stepping into your next self.
