Ailera (Weakness)

Do we all have what sweep us off our feet?
For me, this painting shows how what we see on the surface can be very different from what’s really happening underneath. It’s about that feeling of being drawn in, maybe even seduced, but underneath that, there’s a sense of losing balance or giving in to a kind of weakness. It makes you think about how easily we can fall, even when things look calm or alluring on the outside.
