Akogun explores a powerful, even difficult, moment of struggle or resilience. Against a deep, rich red background, you see a prominent figure in light blue and pink, almost glowing. This figure looks like they are standing tall but are also pierced or connected by several sharp, thin lines, suggesting arrows or pain. Behind them, a dark, shadowy figure seems to be present, perhaps as a burden or a force they are pushing against.
And flying above, a cluster of light blue butterflies signifies hope, freedom, or transformation even in the midst of adversity. For me, “Akogun” is about being a warrior, facing challenges head-on, enduring pain, and still finding a way to transform or rise above, even when you’re deeply affected by what’s happening around you.
