Emi ni

“Emi ni” (which means ‘I Am’ or ‘It is Me’), explores how we see ourselves and how complex identity can be.

For me, this painting is about all the layers that make up ‘me’ – all the different roles, feelings, and parts that combine to create who we are. It’s about the unique and multi-faceted nature of self.
